Hair Trial

Yesterday I had my hair trial, just so I could make sure the one I have had in mind this whole time was the "right" one :) and it was Miss Jordana Sansom is going to be our hairdresser for the wedding she is a close friend of mine, and she did an amazing job :) I was so happy with how it turned out. :) Here is a teaser :) 31/2 months and I will be getting my hair done for the big day :) eek!

and now since our lovely guests have seen them, and now hopefully we start getting a better idea for a head count ( I can hope) I am ready to show everyone the invitations that I designed myself and with the help of some amazing ladies in my life they all came together perfectly :)

Head to Toe Prep

Sorry it's been awhile since I have blogged. I have been on a little bit of a wedding hiatus, but now I am back. The only thing for now to talk about that I have been up to lately is I started by beauty regimen for the wedding. It was on my checklist on my "knot" account and so I figured I would give it a whirl.

I have been using an apricot scrub, hot oil in my hair, oatmeal masks, and taking a once a day multi vitamin.
I don't know how much of a difference it will all make in the end, but I sure feel pretty now!! :) This week will be a busy one making schedules and checklist since we are fast approaching the 100 day mark <3
I promise to write more then just once this week since I know you all have missed me so much!! :)

First Dress Fitting

So yesterday was my first dress fitting, it wasn't supposed to be until I got off of work at around 11 last night (a close friend is making my dress) but to my surprise when I got to work at 3 she came running up towards me with part of my dress to try on in the DQ bathroom.. not exactly what I had in mind lol, but she wanted to make sure it would be ready for later that night. This fitting was to determine the placement of the skirt the whole top of the dress is done minus the "prettying" details but in order to move forward and finish it before the end of the month she needed to place the skirt, after about 4 hours of work and repeated re try-ons it was 3 a.m. and we had gotten all we could get done at that point in time. My next fitting is the last friday of the month and it will also be the try on with the full completed dress :) I am so excited and even more excited since she took my measurements in December since then she had to sinch in the top an extra inch, and we still even had to sinch it in even more. I am pretty sure if she has to alter that part much more she won't be too thrilled lol! So maybe I should cut back on my crazy working out. lol :)

4 Months!!

We are at the 4 month mark and in honor of this momentes  occasion I am going to name off EVERYTHING we have done!! Just so I can brag a bit :)
1. location chosen
2. Rental list complete
3. Dj chosen, and music list sent
4. Table decor done
5. bridesmaids outfits done
6. guest list decor and sign in stuff bought and purchased
7. Fittings appointments set
8. Photographers booked
9. Hair and makeup booked, and trial apt set
10.Food list and cost calculated
11. and spending every weekend working on the venue :)
12. Script done, and ready to send to the officiant
13. Thank you notes done
 *There is a LOT more, but all little things I have been working on
I can't believe in 4 months I get to marry my best friend, I couldn't be happier. I feel so lucky that I have such an amazing person to share the rest of my life with. :)

POWC

Piles of wedding crap are all over my house!!! 4 months on Tuesday till wedding day and I feel as if I am already running out of room. We started bringing finished stuff to Scott's parents house but as soon as we get stuff out more comes in. but, it will be nice as it get's closer to have it all there

For right now my house looks like a department store.. lol

Handmade Napkins

A few weeks ago I posted about wanting to make my own napkins for the reception. I didn't want to use paper napkins and thought these would look cute on the tables, and be something unique. But Oh boy are they a lot more work then I was expecting. I love crafts and little projects but I need to remind myself that they all come in sets of 100 :) but here you are a sneak peak of them
